Certificate in Community Health course is crafted in a way that a trainee can benefit from the best acquired Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude meeting the needs of the community.
The units of competency leading to the certificate in Community Health qualification include seven basic, four common, six core competencies, and three months of mentorship in an active community health unit linked to a health facility. The duration for this course is 18 months. This qualifies graduates to be a Community Health Assistant (CHA) in a health facility or one can be working in health related Institutions.
On successful completion of all units of learning, a trainee will be awarded a Certificate in Community Health Assistant level 5 issued by TVET CDACC in conjunction with Kenya School for Integrated Medicine.
